Midtown – is a district in the north of Downtown Miami and a collective term for the Edgewater and Wynwood neighbourhoods. Midtown is the ideal place for people who are into arts, food and fashion. It is exceptionally located in the epicentre of Miami just few blocks away from the galleries of Wynwood, the Design District and right over the bridge from Miami Beach. Midtown houses the Shops at Midtown, considered as the counterpart of New York’s SOHO neighbourhood. Midtown also has the Miami Fashion District where boutiques and shops are scattered all over.

Park West dubbed as the Downtown Night Club District or Club Row. Park West is a home to very large night party clubs. It is also became a recent film production location favourite. The neighbourhood got its name because it is located just west of the Bicentennial Park. Biscayne Blvd houses most of the residential units in Park West. High-rise condo towers and apartments are situated at the neighbourhood for residents who wants to live near their working places.

There is an ongoing redevelopment plan for Park West. The project aims to make the community liveable where transportation system and land uses are coordinated with each other, and has to retain access to affordable housing. The redevelopment plan aims to have a variety of housing options like rental units, ownership units, single-family units, accessory apartments, and multi-family units.

Central Business District – or CBD and is better known as “Downtown” by the local residents. It the centre of the trade industry of Downtown Miami. Although it a place where mostly people go to for work, residential areas are conveniently scattered within the vicinity. The place directly served by Miami’s main transportation systems like Miami Metrorail and 13 Metromover stations.

One of the three jewellery districts in United States can be found here in CBD, the Miami Jewellery District, and a sub-neighbourhood of Downtown. It became of one of the reason why the place attracts tourists. The sub-neighbourhood houses numerous jewel stores and gem dealers.
