Midtown houses the Shops at Midtown, considered as the counterpart of New York’s SOHO neighbourhood. Midtown also has the Miami Fashion District where boutiques and shops are scattered all over.

Park West dubbed as the Downtown Night Club District or Club Row. Park West is a home to very large night party clubs. It is also became a recent film production location favourite. The neighbourhood got its name because it is located just west of the Bicentennial Park. Biscayne Blvd houses most of the residential units in Park West. High-rise condo towers and apartments are situated at the neighbourhood for residents who wants to live near their working places.

There is an ongoing redevelopment plan for Park West. The project aims to make the community liveable where transportation system and land uses are coordinated with each other, and has to retain access to affordable housing. Central Business District – or CBD and is better known as “Downtown” by the local residents. It the centre of the trade industry of Downtown Miami.
