If you have already heard about ‘Norwood’ or ‘Norland’, then you have also heard about the Miami Gardens. This place is considered a suburban city in Miami which is specifically located within the Miami-Dade County in Florida, close to the Broward County. With its population of 109,680, it is considered the largest city in Florida. It is surrounded by the County line Road to the North, 151st Street to the South, North Miami Avenue and NE 2nd Avenue to the East, and NW 47th Avenue and NW 57th Avenue to the West. It has a total of 350 miles of street and 10 miles of canal.

Before it was named Miami Gardens, it was a refuge for quite a number of mixed American families who came from the different Miami neighborhoods. Later on, it was turned into the Miami Gardens specifically on May 13, 2003. The communities that compose it are the Andover, Bunche Park, Carol City, Lake Lucerne, Scott Lake, Norland, and Opa-Locka North.
